Adult Courses and Pricing
I am happy to teach individual and small groups in private homes and/or public or private Senior Centers/Senior Living Communities, Schools and Libraries. Below are Course Options and Basic Pricing Information. Some situations may warrant different pricing structures - please call me to discuss. I am also open to teaching other courses. Please call me to discuss your ideas.
Painting and Drawing
Students will explore the use of watercolor and acrylic paints and/or oil pastel while looking at Masterworks for inspiration. Students may choose their own subjects if they wish to and all will receive individual instruction tailored to their own objectives. Beginners to advanced are welcome. This can be taught as a one time event or a series of classes. Acrylic painting is best done over two classes.
Clay Work
Students will make a variety of forms in this class, learning the basics of hand-building techniques as they
explore working with air-dried clay, making such projects as pinch pots, wall hangings, leaf bowls, and jewelry beads.
Collage/Mixed Media
We utilize beautiful colored papers, copies of personal photos as well as found objects and materials. Students may want to add in drawing and painting techniques. We explore creating expressive mixed-media works of art.
Photography
We will explore the use of students' phone cameras and/or DSLRs depending on the interests of the class. Students will learn about photographic technique and composition and using light.
Jewelry Making
We will have fun making necklaces, bracelets, and earrings using simple beading techniques and large beads. Students can also explore making their own beads. Beginners and Advanced Welcome.

All Group Classes are $150.00 for 1.5 hours. Material Fees are $3-5.00 or more (depending on the medium) per participant.
Individual to 2-person classes are $50.00 for a 1.5 hour class. Materials for 1 participant are included, each additional participant has a $5.00 materials fee.
